Korea Nazarene University (KNU) has been appointed by Cheonan City to recruit English teachers who teach at elementary, middle and high schools.
Korea Nazarene University is an accredited private Christian University. It is one of 57 educational institutions within the Church of Nazarene International.
KNU is looking for teachers who are evangelical Christians to teach the students with the love of God at various schools in Cheonan City.
* Where : Elementary, Middle and High schools in Cheonan City.
* When : 1st –September 2008 2nd – October 2008 3rd-December
* Salary : 2 million (KRW) per month ($1=1033won / 2008.08.04)

SALARY : $1,500 to $1,714 USD /Month (10,500 to 12,000 RMB per month)

AGE OF STUDENTS : 4-12 years old
REQUIREMENTS :
* Native English Speaker
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher (any Degree)
* No Criminal Background
* EFL certification is required unless you have two years professional experience working in some type of teaching capacity. Candidates with 2 or more years experience teaching English to children are preferred.

Teaching English in Spain placements are available in Madrid, Spain for up to 3 months. Students spend up to 15 hours per week teaching their host family English in exchange for free room and board. The rest of the time they are free to sightsee, make new friends and improve their Spanish skills. No teaching certificate is required.
Work & Travel Australia and New Zealand placements are available for 3-12 months. Seasonal job placements are available through our partner offices who act as a full-service temporary employment agency. Students can travel when and where they choose, checking in with our partner when they are ready to work or for housing referrals. Job placements can range from a 1-day temporary placement to a 6 month job. Jobs vary from hotel/restaurant work to retail, farm-hands and more.
Au Pair Abroad placements are also available in and around Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, and Paris. Au Pair placement last 3-4 months during the summer or 10-12 months year-round.

Have you considered participating in a study abroad program or an internship this summer? If you’d like to combine these experiences, we hope that you’ll apply for a Washington Center intern abroad program in one of four exciting cities:
* London, England
* Oxford, England
* Quebec City, Canada
* Sydney, Australia.
Students interning abroad through The Washington Center during summer 2009 will attend a brief seminar which introduces them to the U.S. capital and their destination city prior to flying off to the U.K., Australia or Canada. There they will intern full-time in a tailored placement, complete academic course work and participate in programming activities as well as have the opportunity to travel. They’ll learn to appreciate another culture and expand their knowledge of our increasingly global world.
