Common Grounds coffeehouse is EMU's student-run gathering place for the community.

Whether you grab a cup of coffee, catch a live show, find a spot to hang out with friends, or just relax with a book, Common Grounds invites you to come spend some time in our unique place.

Common Grounds encourages open discussion and talk ... about anything and everything!

Throughout the semester, we plan and cater events, display student art, host local live music, and open the floor for topical dialogue.

Our hours are flexible, and the menu is varied! We serve a number of drinks, including milkshakes, coffee, espresso and smoothies, along with Mr. J's sandwiches, bagels and muffins. Gift certificates are available!
