Mission Statement:
The Education Department at Eastern Mennonite University bases its early childhood program on principles of child growth and development within a Christian context. We emphasize the growth of trust and independence and the development of a positive self -image in the children we serve.

 

Four-Year-Old Preschool Four-day Program

• Mondays, Tuesdays,Thursdays, Fridays, 12:15-2:45 p.m.
• Enrolls children who are four years old
• Limited to 14 pupils

Three-Year-Old Preschool Three-day Program

• Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
  Enrolls children who are three years old by Sept. 30
• Limited to 12 pupils.

Two-Year-Old Preschool Two-day program

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
• Enrolls children who are two years old by Sept. 30
• Limited to 8 pupils

Director and teacher: Rachel Diener, BA degree in Elementary Education (NK-8).

Each class has an assistant teacher. Because we are a university laboratory school, we have numerous university students as helpers.
