Costs
$1,675.00 per person.* Room and board, instructional program, all special outings, and ground transportation to and from Dulles International Airport included. Youth ages 12 to 17 may enroll. An adult sponsor for groups of at least 10 students will be accommodated for free.
* Our schedule of events is flexible to include points of interest to the group or special opportunities that come up suddenly. However, groups desiring extra trips must request them in advance and be ready to pay extra charges for them. Not all requests for extra trips can be accommodated.

SPECIAL THEME: "Nurturing Students in a Cross-cultural Setting." Classes focus on developing language skills through the coordinated study of interesting content in all the courses, highlighting intercultural communication. Instructors are qualified and experienced ESL teachers. Participants study in classes according to their level: basic, intermediate, or advanced. Average class size is about 10 persons.

Sample of Special Activities
Instructors use class time to prepare students with the English skills needed to get the maximum benefit and enjoyment from the activities. A special strand will be offered to visiting scholars who want to explore further how American universities welcome and serve foreign students. Community service projects can be included as part of the intercultural communication course.

The $50 application fee will be deducted from the above tuition charges. Pick-up service from Washington-Dulles International Airport costs $100 but may be less if several students are picked up at the same time. All students are required to show proof of insurance in case of medical emergencies. Tuition discounts can be negotiated for groups.
