RN-BSN studentThe major in professional nursing leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nursing, involves learning in the areas of nursing theory, evidence-based practice, management, family, and community health. This interdisciplinary program takes a systems approach to the problems, principles and practices of today's complex healthcare system, incorporating conceptual and theoretical knowledge with an understanding of the complex cultural environment.

EMU at Lancaster's RN to Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Adult Degree Completion Program is fully accredited, reasonably priced and accelerated. Dedicated program staff will help you combine stimulating courses, credit for your work experience and a project to finish what you started: your nursing degree!

Application Process

  1. Contact the program representative who will provide you with information about the program and application materials.
  2. Submit a completed application with $25 fee to Eastern Mennonite University through the Lancaster office.
  3. Have official transcripts sent from all institutions you have attended after high school, no matter how long ago, to EMU at Lancaster (address below).
  4. Complete and submit a two-page writing sample and autobiographical outline.
  5. Develop an academic plan with the assessment counselor who will evaluate your transcript(s) and autobiographical outline.
  6. Complete a financial plan and appropriate applications.
  7. Attend the convocation meeting of your new cohort.
