Eastern Mennonite University is a four-year Christian liberal arts university guided by Anabaptist the peace. Nestled in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, EMU prepares students to serve and lead in a global context. EMU professors challenge students academically in close mentoring relationships, preparing them to witness faithfully, serve compassionately, and walk boldly in the way of peace. Cross-cultural study is a graduation requirement, offering students life-changing opportunities to view the world through new lenses and build relationships with people from other cultures.
