Peacebuilder is the official alumni magazine of EMU's Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. The fall/winter 08 issue addresses many topics:
- the work of CJP alumni and staff like Doreen Ruto, Babu Ayindo and Hizkias Assefa in Kenya after post-election violence erupted in early 2008
- the healing of Summer Peacebuilding Institute (SPI) alumnus David Works and his family after losing two daughters in the 2007 Colorado Springs church shooting
- New SPI leadership as Pat Hostetter Martin retires and Sue Williams moves in
- the launch of a groundbreaking new national initiative Fambul Tok encouraging truth-telling and healing within the extended family in war-torn Sierra Leone. This article was written by SPI alum Libby Hoffman, president and founder of Catalyst for Peace.
