Lindsey Grosh, co-president
I am a junior photography major with Spanish and TESL minors. I come from the small town of Yorkana, Pa. I served on SGA for a semester as secretary my freshman year and as co-president and president my sophomore year. I am looking forward to serving the student body again as co-president for fall 2008. I will then head to Guatemala in the spring for my cross-cultural. Some specific things I am excited about this year are the construction of a new residence hall in place of Oakwood, the new flat screen TV in the Royal’s den which was funded by SGA last year, a leadership retreat for EMU students, and increasing student involvement and motivation on campus! I hope students will feel free to express their ideas and concerns to me and the rest of student government as we seek to better our institution. I will do my best to make sure each person knows their voice is heard.

Sara Roth, co-president
Hello! I am a junior history major with a pre-law and political studies double minor and a member of the EMU field hockey team. I am originally from Lancaster, Pa., but am a recent resident of Harrisonburg, Va. Returning as co-president, I am thrilled to dive into this year with a new senate and executive committee. EMU has so many exciting projects lined up and a bright future ahead that it is truly an honor to be part of these changes! It is wonderful to be able to be a link between the students and faculty and I hope that my peers will take advantage of the services of SGA and be a part of the changes happening on campus.

Jackson Maust, vice president
I’m from Bay Port, Mich. I’m a senior biology major, and I hope to go on to become a physical therapist after I leave EMU next spring. My experience at EMU so far has been an incredible mix of faith, friends, sports, music and a great deal of learning. Along with SGA, I play goalkeeper on the varsity soccer team, and I also love to play music with friends. As vice president, I really look forward to not only working with the SGA executives and the senators, but also with each student I run into on a daily basis. My goal is to keep thinking about the things that can make EMU better, and to constantly look for the means to get things done in order to make EMU great for its students.

I am a senior accounting & economics major from Parkesburg, Pa. I’ve really enjoyed each year here at EMU and am excited to serve the student body as an executive member of SGA. I believe that SGA is a voice for the students, and will always strive to provide an accurate representation of the student body and make your voices heard.
